Parkway Tour
List View | Map View
The Parkway tour runs Northwest from 16th and Arch through Logan Square at 19th Street, to 25th, then across to and up the front stairs of the museum. Given the width of the Parkway and the amount of traffic on it, running back and forth across the street is not the ideal way to view the artwork. This tour is laid out going up the North side and back the South.
There are two small detours on the North side:
- North along the Barnes Foundation walkway west of 20th to Pennsylvania, then West on Pennsylvania across 21st through the Rodin Museum grounds and out the front gate
- along Pennsylvania and Fairmount from 24th to 26th, crossing back to the Museum at 25th
and four detours on the South side:
- South on 22nd to Winter, East to 21st, back North on 21st to the Parkway
- half a block South on 19th toward Cherry and back
- South on 18th to Cherry, East on Cherry to the Parkway
- South on 17th to Arch, East on Arch to the Parkway
In addition to the pieces pictured here there are usually two or three temporary installations in Aviator Park across from Moore College of Art and Design.
