This tour runs East on Market from 40th to the middle of the Market Street Bridge, with detours. You could do it the other way around, but East is down hill all the way. There's a blue-line stop right at the corner of 40th and Market, which makes it easy to reach from Center City. From the Southwest corner of 40th and Market we go

	*Wind Helix* Roy Wilson, 1994 * abstract * The fence used to surround an open space behind the building. The fence was removed around 2007 and the open space was replaced with an extension of the building. In 2009 the fence was put back in approximately its original position, but surrounding the building extension instead of open space. 	*Main Quad Fountain* Hargreaves Associates, 2006 * abstract fountain, University seal * The Drexel University seal is inscribed into the base of the fountain in very shallow relief which you can see when the water is off. Each of the water jets is individually programmable and individually lit at night. 	*Spirit of Transportation* Karl Bitter, 1895 * big group of people, mostly standing, some sitting, horses, sheep, oxen, wagon and carriage, basket of fruit, model train, model boat, model airship * inscription: This panel, the conception and work of Karl Bitter, sculptor, was executed in 1895 and placed in the waiting room of Broad Street Station Philadelphia from which place it was removed to this site in January, 1933.
